Brand Ambassador - Kokomio Coconut Beverages

Kokomio is excited to add an enthusiastic Brand Ambassador to the team. This key coconut will be the boots on the ground face and voice of our brand to our retailers and event attendees. The successful candidate will be involved in increasing brand awareness and sales by promoting our products through various retail channels. You will work closely with our sales team and marketing team to achieve goals and objectives, such as communicating the brand story and product offerings to customers through demos and events. Additionally, the Brand Ambassador will be responsible for interacting with retail location managers, tracking customer feedback, and overall representing the brand.

 

To excel in this position, you must have excellent communication and networking skills, previous experience as a brand ambassador or similar role, as well as knowledge of sales and marketing principles.

In-store Demos:

  • Coordinate and manage the demo schedule with team.
  • Perform demos in-store, track data, and present analytics.
  • Maintain spreadsheets and interactive docs with marketing and sales team.
  • Take photos or video and post on group drive.
  • Coordinate and follow up on logistics related to demos.

DEMOS:

  • Invite, engage, and inspire consumers to sample and ultimately purchase products during 3-hour tastings.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of salesmanship and brand storytelling.
  • Shares brand expertise and experiences on social media and during tastings.
  • Loves to learn new stuff and aims to be the best!
  • Provides timely and accurate reporting

MERCHANDISING:

  • In-store product merchandising
  • Interact with store manager or marketing manager on POS and sales questions

EVENTS:

  • Attend events on the clients behalf
  • Set-up, tear down and organization of at event needs
  • Product delivery etc.

Brand Ambassador Responsibilities:

  • Get to know the Kokomio mission, vision, commitment to sustainability and sales marketing goals.
  • Work closely with the sales and distribution team to understand retailer relations and sales systems.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to understand brand voice, activation and marketing efforts.
  • Educate customers, retailers, and others about our products
    Build rapport with retailers, store managers, customers and vendors
  • Monitor customer feedback and retailer interactions, report to the marketing department.
  • Represent the company at product launches, events, and trade shows.
  • Brainstorming ideas and participating in training and workshops.
  • Maintaining a positive image of the brand at all times.

Brand Ambassador Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience in a customer service environment a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and tools.
  • Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to travel throughout California
  • Must live in LA and have an excellent DMV record

Job Benefits:

  • Starting pay $60,000/year
  • Potential product sales commissions
  • Work van will be provided (may not be immediately available)
  • Travel reimbursements as necessary
